Petal Rituals Series: Care Made with Love
Story:
This mask was born one evening when the air smelled of lavender and jasmine. I closed my eyes and imagined a light veil of petals - so transparent, almost weightless, like the touch of water on the skin. I wanted to create not just a mask, but a soft floral cloud that embraces the skin, fills it with moisture and soothes it after the day.
Recipe (for 1 use):
Chamomile hydrolate - 10 ml
White clay (kaolin) - 1 tsp.
Violet or rose petal powder - ½ tsp.
Aloe vera gel - ½ tsp.
grape seed oil - 3 drops
Lavender essential oil - 1 drop
Roman Chamomile Essential Oil - 1 drop
Preparation:
In a shallow ceramic bowl, combine hydrolat, clay and powder.
Stir gently with a wooden spatula until smooth.
Add aloe gel, oils and mix again.
The mask should have a soft, creamy consistency, like whipped mousse.
Ritual:
Apply a thin layer of the mask to a clean face, avoiding the eye area. Lie down for 10-12 minutes in silence. The mask should not dry out — you can spray your face with hydrolate. Rinse off with warm water, slowly. Then apply a light cream.
This mask makes the skin lighter, softer and noticeably calmer. I use it when I need to restore freshness and inner balance to my face - especially after wind, sun or a hard day. In the morning, the skin seems to breathe in a new way.
