How to come up with names for your creams, masks and oils

Cosmetics with the voice of your heart

When you name something, you give it meaning. And if the cream is called "Warm Blanket" - it works differently than just "night cream".

Why is this important?

  • The name turns the product into a story

  • It helps you remember why you created it.

  • It creates a mood before use.

  • And it makes your jars incredibly personal.

Examples of inspiring names:

🔹 How it feels:

  • "Leather without haste"

  • "Silence in a Drop"

  • "Light After the Rain"

  • "A Touch of Linden"

🔹 By functions (but softly):

  • "Soft Evening" (night cream)

  • "Dew" (moisturizing serum)

  • "Milk mask" (soothing)

  • "Radiant Care" (oil elixir)

🔹 By time of day:

  • "Slow Morning"

  • "Sleepy Sun"

  • "Night and Rose"

How to come up with your own name:

  1. Look at the texture - what do you associate it with?

  2. Think about when you will use the product.

  3. Close your eyes: what word comes to mind?

  4. Allow yourself to be poetic - you are creating not just a means, but a feeling
