The name is the first note the heart hears
You create a scent. It smells like something important. Now it needs a name. Not for the shelf, but for memory.
What is the name of the fragrance?
This is an emotional code , a short sentence about:
mood
moment
memory
the woman who will wear this scent
The title should not be "logical". It should open the door to the inner world .
Hints: Where to look for your name
1. Image
Ask yourself:
What does my scent taste like?
To the letter that you didn't send?
On the shadow of the curtain on the floor?
For a cup of tea at 6am?
Titles with images:
"Warm light on the neck"
"The Window That Breathes"
"The Unspoken"
2. Rhythm
A good title is like a line from a poem. It resonates. You want to repeat it.
Titles with rhythm:
"The scent of a woman who is no longer in a hurry"
"Letter without an answer"
"Early Sunday"
3. Emotion
Write down 1 word or phrase that you feel with this scent.
Emotional names:
"Weasel"
"Milk Silence"
"Inner Light"
"The Tenderness That Remains"
Exercise:
Take 1 of your fragrances and create 3 names:
Through the image
Through mood
Through music phrases
Compare. Feel which one is yours.
📒 Start a page in your diary: "Names of fragrances" - Write down not only the names, but also the meaning behind them. This is your personal perfume poetry.
