That's what happened to me with Greece. I ended up here not according to plan. But it was here that a lot of things became clear to me.

I fell in love with this country - not for the postcards and the sea, but for the air, the light, the silence, the old walls, and the way it knows how to be close without interfering.

Aegean Notebooks was born from this feeling. It is not a blog or a diary. It is an attempt to carefully preserve what is too easily lost: the bright, the real, the unnoticeable.
